Jupiter May 24 2016

  • Jupiter and the GRS
This was the best of my sessions sketching Jupiter over the last three weeks.
The GRS was near the central meridian. It is a nice red color through the eyepiece.
One nice festoon was clearly seen in the equatorial zone.
Just along the NEB a bright white oval was clearly visible.
